Owner and tour guide, Glenn, will be happy to discuss your favourite ideas and also design the perfect itinerary for your trip.
Prefer to keep it simple? We also offer a standard itinerary for each destination, designed to showcase the region’s most distinctive features while staying flexible. All you’ll need to do is relax, and enjoy an unforgettable day.
Just north of Sydney, the Hunter Valley is rich in history and culture. It’s one of Australia’s oldest and most famous wine regions, making our private Hunter Valley wine tours a popular choice for foodies and wine enthusiasts. Or if you want to include activities other than wine tasting, a Hunter Valley day trip still offers a variety of produce stores and restaurants, feature gardens, wildlife parks and more.
Travel in Style
Your Country Trails private tour is a specially-tailored experience, just for your group. As a boutique tour operator, we travel exclusively with small touring groups, enabling greater flexibility with regard to the places visited and the pace of the tour.
Our Mercedes Viano professional touring vehicle will carry you and up to six companions in luxurious, air-conditioned comfort.
- Comfortable seating for seven passengers – with plenty of legroom
- Reclining leather seats
- DVD player with documentaries and movies supplied (including DVDs for kids)
With a dedicated vehicle and driver, your trip can be flexible, personalised, and just right for you and your companions. It’s the perfect short getaway for a couple, family, friends, or even a small corporate group.
Perfect for sightseeing and nature lovers, the Blue Mountains offer spectacular stretches of countryside for you to explore. Beautiful bushwalking trails provide plenty for high-energy adventurers, while others can relax and enjoy the easily-accessible lookouts, a wildlife park and picturesque small towns. Featherdale Wildlife Park and Scenic World are especially popular side destinations. It’s the ideal tour to enjoy uniquely Australian plants, animals and landscapes.
Private Tours for the Whole Family
Travellers of all ages and mobility levels are welcome with Country Trails! We pride ourselves on our friendly and flexible service, and are happy to provide expert advice for tour groups with particular requirements.
Tours with children
Bringing the kids along? Glenn will happily tailor your tour itinerary to provide plenty of experiences for the little ones to enjoy. Country Trails can also provide child seats for family groups with young children (normally required for kids under the age of 7).
Touring with less mobile travellers
For seniors and those with limited mobility, accessible attractions are available at all our favourite destinations. Glenn will be happy to hear your specific requirements, and advise you on which activities will be suitable for your trip.
If you travel with a mobility aid, you’ll be pleased to know that our tour vehicle is also able to accommodate a folding wheelchair or scooter.
The city of Sydney is packed with iconic landmarks, beautiful views and important historical sites. Our Sydney private tours combine must-see attractions – like Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and Bondi Beach – with lesser-known gems throughout the city. If meeting a kangaroo or koala is more to your liking, Sydney is also an excellent place to see some of Australia’s unique wildlife. Your tour can include a variety of zoos, wildlife sanctuaries and aquariums all easily reached from the city centre.
